Thought of the Day

It's with a heavy heart that we say farewell to a dear friend and Rotarian, Dr. Les Kish.

Pictured above is Les and his wife Sally receiving the coveted Paul Harris Fellowship Award.

Les was a great friend and mentor. He will be missed by all, but we know he's with the love of his life..

This is a letter from St. Vincent De Paul speaking about their 8th annual Hope for the Homeless event which would be held on Thursday, November 19 at Luna's banquet hall.

As you read this letter, you will see that the cost of the event is $50 per person. It is for a great cause and should be a lot of fun. Hopefully you will be able to make it..

Feeding Neighbors will take place this coming Monday, October 19 at Zion Lutheran Church in Bristol. We asked that those volunteering please be there by 3:45. If you plan on attending, please reach out to Heather.

Get to know our Rotarians.

Twice twice a month, on the first meeting of a month and the last meeting of the month, we will ask a member to get up and talk about themselves. Give us some insight as to who they are where they've come from.

It's great to have breakfast with everybody once a week, but it's even more meaningful when we know something about each and every one of us.

I think it'll be a great exercise in brotherhood.

On Tuesday, October 27, we will be hearing from John Cassidy.

This coming Sunday is the day we've all been working so hard for over this past year. The 57th running of the Bristol Rotary Mumathon road race..

As of now, it looks like we might top 400 participants. You should all be very proud of that..

To make this work, we need everybody helping us Saturday and Sunday. This coming Saturday we will be meeting at Saint Paul's rear entrance to the cafeteria at 3 PM. Will probably be there for a good three hours setting the room up..

On Sunday morning, we're looking for everybody to be there to help at 7 AM.

Keep in mind that the proceeds of this race will go towards funding our mini grants in 2027.
