Carl Johnson, Director of Capital Funds, Bristol Housing Authority + Arianna shared great information about the busy agency.
Public housing began 80 years ago in 1943, began when soldiers returned back from the war
Mission: creating opportunities for affordable housing in a suitable living environment and promoting self-sufficiency in our community 
Housing Authority - 756 units +  24 units on Independent site
Cambridge Park, the goal is to renovate around 180 units. Carl shared about the different living options for the housing authority from Dutton Heights to Zibacousiky Park.  
We learned about the Ross coordinator,  residency occupancy service..runs activities, monthly newsletter, mammogram,  smoking sensation, vaccine, contests,  scholarships, and more
residents often look for opportunities to do community service
