Our Scholarship luncheon was held on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at the Doubletree Hotel in Bristol. We had a great honor of awarding 10 scholarships and one interact scholarship to very well deserving students..
We look forward to their future endeavors.
All photos from this event can be viewed on our webpage.
At our Scholarship Luncheon, we had the pleasure of awarding our own Thomas Dickau, the coveted Paul Harris Award.
Throughout the years, Tom has spent numerous selfless hours in helping to promote the Rotary Club of Bristol. You will find Tom at every major event that's taking place in our city selling beautiful pewter ornaments that he helped design. The money from these ornaments help the Rotary Club of Bristol give back to the community..
Tom is what we consider to be a true Rotarian at heart.
More photos can be seen on our website.
There was one more award we felt needed to be acknowledged at this Scholarship Luncheon. That award was Rotarian of the Year, which we felt undoubtedly would go to Mrs. Heather Chirumbolo.
Over this year, Heather has taken charge of a number of events such as our social gathering, food for neighbors, she's also the chair of the mini grant committee and the scholarship committee. In addition to that, she's also a full-time mom, wife, and successful real estate agent.
We thank Heather for all of her dedication and time that she has given to the Rotary Club of Bristol
She is our Rotarian of the Year.
Come and participate with the Bristol Rotary Club in celebrating our countries 250th birthday. We will have a tent set up selling our ornaments and also trying to recruit new members.
This is also a great time for us to promote our MumAthon Road Race
We will be asking the interact students to attend with us. Should be a day of learning some history and having some fun.
We would love to have some of you join us and help us at the tent. We will be setting up around 12:30.
Don't forget to get your tickets for this year's Hartford Yard Goats game on August 1.
If you get there when the gates open at 4:30, you'll have an opportunity to go onto the field and be part of presenting the giant American Flag.
It's always been a fun day. There will be a firework show at the end of the game.
The flyer above gives you the site online where you can purchase your tickets.
