* 2.4 million budget between Manross & Main branch, breaks to $38/year per Bristol resident (part of taxes)

* 1400 card holders in Bristol, # Dropped during covid
Goal to get back up to 20k cardholders
ACTION ITEM: RENEW YOUR CARD TODAY! WRITE AN ARTICLE TO RENEW LIBRARY CARD
* 129k foot traffic
* 20k came to programs
* 16k online courses
* 14k used computers 
* 65k sessions of wifi
* Circulatory 2.5 million

September is national sign-up month, they will join us at the farmer's market
Library did not close during covid, remote & grab-and-go services were available
Isolation factor, w/o library would feel alone 
Access for all
Bristol public library, went fine free!  Still a charge if you loose/ break things.
Author luncheon held each year 
Bristol Public Library is a Hub CT library, Library for blind 
may receive a player and materials in braille, put together a collection...looks like a cassette recorder 
Given to folks free, materials sent to them free. Surrounding areas are welcome to take advantage of this program

HAPPY / SAD BUCKS

Lee is happy this month's Rotary magazine was about Rotary bike riding, this close to eradicating Polio, last year rode 2300 miles on the Farmington trail to raise $ to end polio.  A pledge sheet was passed around - Lee has started logging miles for this year - time to pledge per mile
