Pledge of Allegiance / Four Way Test                                                          Quote of the Day

We are sad to say that our good friend and Rotarian Jennifer Greiner will be leaving us and moving on to the New Britain Council. She has been a bright light in our organization. Joey always has a smile and she’s always willing to help. She will truly be missed, but she promises that she will come back and help us with the Mumathon race. We all want to wish her nothing but the best in life. Thank you Jennifer for all you do.

February 22 - (11 AM to 1 PM) Spare Time Bowling - get there early and meet    at 10:30 AM.

April 16 - Rotary Spring Gathering will be at the new Cambridge project from 5 to 7 PM. The goal of this gathering is to bring potential new members to Rotary. Please look at the pool of people that you surround yourself with and see if any of them would be interested in coming that evening.

April 20 – Zion Church to cook and serve, meals for neighbors.

A third grader Eva, from a school in Northern Virginia, reached out to us asking to tell her about Connecticut. She will be presenting Connecticut at her local state fair. Last week I passed out with questions she was asking. I know Whit Betts took the initiative to send it out and we thank him for that.. looking for more participation. I think it would mean a world to this young lady if we had a multitude of people responding.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mary Etter is feeling better and should be back with us for our meeting on the 24th

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kelly from interact will be retiring at the end of this school year and we want to honor her by making her an Honorary Member of Rotary. She has done so much for our organization with the Interact students in our city. More discussion is needed on this.

"In response to a request for help by St Vincent DePaul a Bristol Rotary volunteer worked 11pm-3am on Feb. 12th at overflow shelter for the homeless."

This is one of the many ways in which the Bristol Rotary Club supports the Bristol      Community.

We did our happy and sad bucks

Whit Betts did not draw the Ace of Clubs

Our meeting ended at 8:55 AM

Quote of the Day

Farewell Jennifer. We will miss your kind face and good nurtured heart. Wishing you all the best

Judi Ann Lausier

To my Rotary family:

Thank you for your prayers over the last 6 months, for covering events when I could not be there, for coming and offering hugs during Jim’s services or sending flowers and cards over the past month.

I especially love the rainbow crystal that hangs in my kitchen, and the planting of a tree is perfect for him.

It will take a while to heal, but i know whenever I’m feeling sad or overwhelmed, you’ll be there to pick me up

With so much love,

Judi Ann pe caption here

This is a great event to introduce new potential candidates to Rotary.
