Claudette invited a guest that she met at a Historical Society event.
Bettie MacIntyre is an author, she brought books available to purchase.
Bettie shared the premise of one of her books:
About a little girl left during WWII, raised by her grandmother. She lived in a poor farming town, the entire time of the war. She feels fortunate for learning life lessons from her beloved grandmother, who gave her the best foundation. She went to college at age 16, was fortunate to learn writing skills from her eldest sister. Her message: you can do anything you put your mind to.
