Week 16 of the farmers market was wet!  Just under 60 people visited.  Thankful to our diehard volunteers! Meet at the pod to set up at 8:45 AM.

Announcements

Our club will run the free breakfast sandwich for veterans event again this year, Judi Ann has secured 3 participating restaurants.   Veterans will receive a voucher to be used for $8 sandwich.
 
This week Farmers market will be busy -  a few vendors of note: Bristol Health, library van, and fireman will have a table selling t shirts + giving out blue bulbs from city True Hardware 
 
The scholarship committee will plan to meet on 10/17.  Original meeting date 10/10, important to have Mario there!
 
ACTION ITEM: everyone is invited to do a "farmers market sign" pick up or "scavenger hunt".   
 
Good news the Bristol Blues has secured the All-Star game next July 
 
Our club will donate $200 to the Latin Heartbeat jazz ensemble which will be on  May 8th at Rockwell
